Dr. Raj Vuppalanchi is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. His areas of interest and expertise are in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, cholestatic liver disease, biomarkers of fibrosis, and novel therapeutics for various liver disorders. He other interests include drug safety and drug metabolism in patients with liver disease and bariatric surgery. In addition to serving as PI for industry-sponsored clinical trials, he has served as a co-investigator for the NASH-Clinical Research Network and Drug-Induced Liver Injury Networks. He also serves as the PI for the Indiana CTSI phase I clinical trials in the hepatic impaired patient population.
